New milestones

The DRÄXLMAIER Group entered the decade of mobility transition. In 2021, Vice Chairman Stefan Brandl assumed the role of CEO in addition to his current responsibilities. He managed the operational business together with Jan Reblin, who assumed the position of CEO in October 2022.

Plant in Leipzig

The mobility transition and the associated development of electric mobility were a major challenge for the automotive industry. In order to be well equipped for this transformation process, DRÄXLMAIER Group invested in a new location in Leipzig, Germany, to manufacture high-voltage battery systems for a premium SUV. With the new battery plant, DRÄXLMAIER strengthened its presence in Leipzig.

Awards

In 2022, Jaguar Land Rover honored the DRÄXLMAIER Group with the Supplier Excellence Award for outstanding performance as a supplier. The company also received the Procurement Excellence Award, which is presented by the renowned Federal Association of Materials Management, Purchasing, and Logistics e.V. (Bundesverband Materialwirtschaft, Einkauf und Logistik e.V.; BME). In 2022 and 2023, the commitment to environmental and climate protection was honored twice in a row with the “Top Climate Commitment” award from the news magazine Focus. In 2024, DRÄXLMAIER was recognized as a top employer again by the Top Employers Institute.

65 years DRÄXLMAIER

On May 8, 2023, the DRÄXLMAIER Group celebrated its 65th anniversary. The company was founded on May 8, 1958, by Lisa and Fritz Dräxlmaier Sr.
