More growth

From 10 to 2,000

The DRÄXLMAIER production sites continued to grow and the number of employees increased steadily. The initial ten employees evolved into almost 2,000 by the 1980s. In 1987, an automatic multi-level small-parts warehouse was built in Vilsbiburg, which remains the global supply chain’s centerpiece to this day. In addition the company suggestion system, now known as DRÄXLMAIER Ideas, was introduced.
