Together for the environment

Recently, over 30 volunteers from DRÄXLMAIER Thailand joined a CSR activity in Khao Yai Da, Rayong Province.

Why Khao Yai Da?

This vital watershed area has faced drought and forest damage. Check dams help retain water, boost forest moisture, and restore the ecosystem—making it a model for conservation.

What is a check dam?

Check dams are small barriers built across streams to slow water flow, prevent erosion, and store water. The teams used natural, biodegradable materials like stones, branches and soil.

Learning and teamwork

The day started at Mabchan Learning Center with a briefing on dam building and forest safety. Then the volunteers hiked to three zones in the forest and each team built a dam in their assigned area.

A day full of team spirit—working to protect nature.
