Spring Awakening in Moldova and Romania
Our colleagues in Romania and Moldova welcomed spring with the Mărțișor Festival – a tradition that symbolizes hope, appreciation, and a renewed sense of community.
At the Moldovan plants in Bălți and Cahul, apprentices personally distributed the traditional red-and-white good-luck charms amongst their colleagues. These small gestures were accompanied by heartfelt wishes and made the importance of solidarity and mutual recognition in everyday work life palpable.
In Romania, too, Mărțișor was marked by a spirit of commitment. At the Hunedoara and Timișoara sites, employees supported local nonprofit organizations by collecting donations and distributing handmade Mărțișor gifts. In Pitești, apprentices organized a Mărțișor fair where creatively designed pendants made from recycled materials were offered in exchange for donations – to benefit their further education.
