Start of Training at DRÄXLMAIER
On Friday 1st September, the DRÄXLMAIER Group welcomed 62 new trainees to Vilsbiburg. The young men and women will receive training in one of eight occupations at the sites in Vilsbiburg, Bischofswiesen, Ingolstadt, Landau and Weyhausen as well as in Braunau in Austria.
On the first day of their training, the trainees gained their first impressions at the headquarters of the DRÄXLMAIER Group in Vilsbiburg, received important training and got to know their instructors. On Monday, the trainees will attend the traditional introductory seminar at the Benediktbeuern Monastery in Upper Bavaria. "At DRÄXLMAIER, we attach a great deal of importance to team spirit. In Benediktbeuern, the trainees and instructors can get to know each other better in a special atmosphere", said Barbara Gerber, who is the director of international training. In the introductory seminar, the new trainees will encounter workshops on topics like "The car of the future" and "Sustainability" as well as a knowledge rally.
This year, the DRÄXLMAIER Group is offering two commercial and six technical occupations. All in all, the company is currently training 200 young people in Germany and Austria.
