Leading the way in sustainable innovation

01. June 2023 DRÄXLMAIER Tunisia wins prize for best CSR campaign 2023

The International CSR Forum recognises Tunisian companies that have excelled in their CSR activities. During the second edition of the forum, which took place on May 24 and 25 in Hammamet, DRÄXLMAIER Tunisia received the award for the best CSR action 2023 for sustainable innovation for the country's first solar-powered bus stop in the city of Jemmal in Monastir Governorate.

The bus stop, which generates sustainable energy with its own solar system, offers citizens a place of rest while waiting for the buses to arrive and at the same time a way to charge their smartphones via the USB ports present in the seats. In addition, the solar systems also power the built-in LED lights that illuminate the stop at night. This initiative is a perfect example of the DRÄXLMAIER Group's vision to create a greener and more socially responsible future.

On the sidelines of the forum, DRÄXLMAIER Tunisia also received a second prize for its commitment to the introduction of a CSR approach. This recognition recognizes the continuous efforts to promote sustainable development and exemplary environmental responsibility.
