Aleksandra, Process Engineer in Jelenia Góra, Poland has been working at DRÄXLMAIER since 2015

Ambitious and opinionated

What do you do in your job?

As a process engineer, I am responsible for optimizing processes and implementing projects. I started my career at DRÄXLMAIER nine years ago in Industrial Engineering and now I am a Senior Technologist. I work with a team of six people who work on cutting and sewing patterns for door panels and cad dashboards. I am still working in the same area as when I started and have gained a lot of experience over the years. Quality and efficiency in my work is very important to me.

What do you enjoy most about your job?

I like the challenges that come with my job. It's interesting every day and never boring. Finding solutions and knowing that I have done my job well makes me happy.

Working with sewing machines requires great professional and technical expertise as well as a good understanding of the team members and their needs, as a lot of the work is done by hand. I like working with people and the fact that my team trusts me and is confident in my skills. We support each other and also enjoy spending free time together to get our heads out of work.

What is your favorite hobby?

Apart from my professional life, I have a passion for cooking and baking. I really enjoy spending a lot of time in the kitchen and often bring my cake creations to work. This always makes my colleagues very happy! My greatest pleasure is the joy of others.

My second passion for about two years now is pole dancing. It not only trains the body, but also the determination. Pole dancing is a tough sport and can be compared to a musical instrument: you have to train every day to get really good at it. I get to meet new people and it calms my head, which makes me more effective - also at work. I just want to be good, I'm a very professional and ambitious person and I always do my best.

Which of your qualities are you particularly proud of?

I am proud to have the courage to express my own opinion. I think that all opinions should be respected. DRÄXLMAIER gives me the opportunity to do this by allowing me to put forward my arguments. It is important to me to understand other opinions, to listen to each other and to exchange ideas.
