What is the Ivalua procurement suite and the Ivalua supplier portal?
The Ivalua procurement suite is a platform used for onboarding, managing supplier data, inviting suppliers to participate in procurement activities (RFI, RFP, eAuctions) and for selected suppliers to submit electronic purchase orders. All commercial activities can be managed and information exchanged in one place via the Ivalua supplier portal. You have the possibility to view tenders, catalogs, orders, contracts and performance evaluations.
What does the introduction of Ivalua mean for my business relationship with DRÄXLMAIER?
With Ivalua, we will be able to digitize all procurement processes, gain efficiency and transparency, ensure compliance and work with up-to-date data in a collaborative way. This means that our interactions in the areas of ordering, procurement, contracting and information management will take place in Ivalua.
How secure is the Ivalua supplier portal?
The Ivalua Supplier Portal uses the Secure Hypertext Transfer Protocol (HTTPS) for all communication between procurement applications and suppliers. HTTPS is the standard for secure internet communication and uses Secure Socket Layer (SSL) with RSA Labs encryption. In addition, accounts in the Ivalua supplier portal are password protected.
What if I don't want to take part?
DRÄXLMAIER is committed to the success of this initiative and is working hard to make the transition as seamless as possible for its partners. Suppliers who are invited to participate are considered strategically important to the ongoing business and are therefore expected to comply with this process change as a prerequisite for continuing the business relationship. The Ivalua supplier portal will be a mandatory standard at DRÄXLMAIER, both for new and existing suppliers.
