03. May 2013 – Vilsbiburg, May 3, 2013. – In order to attract the previously untapped potential of highly specialized technical and managerial personnel from European urban centers to Lower Bavaria, the Lower Bavaria Forum and the Dräxlmaier Group have begun a cooperative project. For the first time, the region and the company are showcasing themselves together in a brochure highlighting the advantages of Lower Bavaria.
The two-language executive information brochure, issued by the Lower Bavaria Forum Association e.V. and the Dräxlmaier Group, appears under the title “Willkommen in Niederbayern – Welcome to Lower Bavaria“. It is aimed at technical and managerial personnel and their families who want to make a professional change, and who are recruited by Lower Bavarian companies from other countries and other German states. Potential applicants are thereby able to inform themselves more effectively and more easily, either online or in print form, about the attractive area of Lower Bavaria.
A completely new feature is that other Lower Bavarian companies can use the new medium for themselves as well. By individualizing the information, they have the opportunity to present themselves within a larger and more attractive overall Lower Bavarian context. The contact person for individualization is Michael Kliebenstein, Executive Director of the Lower Bavarian Forum e.V. The goal of this measure is to address and inform available technical and managerial personnel of the potential in Lower Bavaria in a better, more rapid way. The most recent numbers confirm that the demand for highly specialized technical and managerial personnel in Bavaria will increase dramatically in the coming years.
Heinz Grunwald, District President for Lower Bavaria: “An all-round source of information for the target group of specialized personnel, which shows our excellent quality of life, career opportunities, educational opportunities, medical care, family orientation and tourist attractions at the same time, may be rather unique in Bavaria, perhaps even pioneering. We are very pleased that this comprehensive initiative has come about, and support it wholeheartedly.”
Fritz Dräxlmaier, Chief Executive Officer, Dräxlmaier Group: “As a technology-oriented company group in the automotive industry, we have a massive interest in recruiting highly qualified associates. We therefore welcome any program that supports us in reaching and addressing this target group. Furthermore, this project represents an ideal supplement to our own recruiting program.”
Roland Polte, Executive Director, Human Resources, Dräxlmaier Group: “Lower Bavaria is really a prime location, not only in Germany, but in the world. This program offers us the opportunity to address potential personnel who are ready to move, as well as their families, in a more confident way and to convince them of the many advantages of our location. This program is therefore very welcome from our standpoint.”
Michael Kliebenstein, Executive Director of the Niederbayern-Forum e.V.: “The ‘Welcome to Lower Bavaria’ project makes Lower Bavaria known beyond our own borders, and creates a new welcoming culture. When used correctly by our companies, the new personnel campaign will attract exactly the target group that we urgently need in Lower Bavaria – highly specialized employees with their young families. At the same time, the image of the region will be reinforced.”
