11. September 2014 – 55 new apprentices in Germany and Austria start their professional lives
Workshops, lectures and excursions: For 55 new apprentices in Germany and Austria, their training began with a traditional introductory seminar in Benediktbeuern. There they had a week to get to know their new employer, colleagues and teachers.
Karl Wallner, executive director for production and logistics at the DRÄXLMAIER Group, came to Benediktbeuern personally, to welcome the new apprentices in the name of the executive board. He emphasized the extensive development opportunities for the apprentices, which resulted from the international orientation of the company.
Team spirit and networking
“From the beginning, we place great importance on team spirit and networking,” said training director Harald Sekerka. “During the introductory seminar, our new apprentices had the opportunity to build good contacts within the company during their first week.” Workshops on topics such as the “Car of the future” promoted the creativity of the apprentices. Together they presented their ideas for futuristic means of transport, as a team. In a knowledge rally, the apprentices were also able to solve questions and picture puzzles with their new employer.
