Sachsenheim's mayor Holger Albrich visited and symbolically opened the location of the DRÄXLMAIER Group in Sachsenheim near Stuttgart. "We are very pleased that the DRÄXLMAIER Group has chosen Sachsenheim as their location and is creating ambitious jobs for the people in the region," said Albrich during the tour of the battery production. "We are grateful for the visit and the interest in our innovative products, with which we create sustainable jobs here in the Sachsenheim region", says Gunther Wössner, site manager of the DRÄXLMAIER Group in Sachsenheim.
More games, sports and fun in the region: The DRÄXLMAIER Group supports the construction of a fun park in Oberriexingen near our site in Sachsenheim. Site manager Gunther Wössner handed over a check for 3,000 euros to the mayor of the city of Oberriexingen, Frank Wittendorfer. The recreational ground includes a round course for bikes, inline skates and skateboards, a so-called pump track, and a playground.
"The fun park is an attractive project with great value for the people in the region. We are pleased to support this initiative," says Wössner.
The DRÄXLMAIER Group received the Volkswagen Group Award 2017 in the "New Mobility Solutions" category. This prize acknowledges the successful cooperation between the supplier and the premium brand Porsche. Together with the DRÄXLMAIER Group, Porsche is the first to develop a battery system that is based on an 800 volt technology. This innovation enables previously unattainable driving performance and charging speed and sets standards in sporting e-mobility.
