Things get tense at our development sites in Munich, Ingolstadt, Vilsbiburg, Weyhausen, Böblingen and Weissach: As a specialist in wiring harness technology, you will be developing solutions for complex on-board power supply typologies. You will develop and construct complete wiring harness systems. You will be working on the technical intricacies of the overarching themes in the future of the automotive industry, including autonomous driving and alternative drive systems.

What to expect as a specialist in wiring harness technology:

Your range of tasks will be highly versatile. You will be working with modern CAD systems such as CATIA V5, LDorado, LD-Design and E3-Cable, wiring harness systems and planning their geometrical implementation in the vehicle. You will create engineering drawings and establish wiring and system circuit plans. You will always keep a keen eye on aspects such as installation space optimisation and functional safety.

Electricians, mechatronics engineers and automotive engineers, take heed!

Lateral entrants with expertise in the fields of automotive technology and electrical engineering have great entry and career opportunities with us. We offer you interesting perspectives in wiring harness development and help you gain qualifications for sophisticated tasks. An engineering degree or completed vocational training in engineering are not necessary.
