How did you come to work for DRÄXLMAIER?
Back in 2005, when the DRÄXLMAIER Group first began operations in San Luis Potosi, I heard that this company would become one of the biggest and most important employers in the state. I wanted to be part of this company and joined DRÄXLMAIER in August 2006 as assembly supervisor for the customer-specific wiring harness for the BMW X5.
How would you describe your city to your foreign colleagues?
San Luis Potosi is a very nice city that is rich in history and has great colonial architecture. In addition, beautiful natural scenery with everything from desert zones to tropical vegetation can be found throughout the state.
What is your greatest professional challenge at the moment?
In order to continually learn within the position that I hold today, I have to count on the excellent work from colleagues who are always adding something new and helpful to improve my learning.
What tip would give to a new associate on his or her first day at work?
You are now working for a company that offers many opportunities to grow and improve yourself professionally and personally. But you need hard work and dedication to achieve the goals that you set for yourself.
What are your personal goals?
Broaden my competences and qualifications through continuous education and be able to complete all the plans already underway in my family.
You never go to work in the morning without...
… giving a blessing to my wife, asking the Lord for a good day, and telling my wife how much I love her.
If you come home really tense, what is the quickest way for you to relax?
Go outside and exercise, and spend time with my family.
We all have our little idiosyncrasies. Which are yours?
I have always played soccer, which has taught me many things. The most important to me are: Team work is vital to reach any goal; all members of a team are equally important; and just like in soccer, life always gives you a chance for a rematch.
